Mid century municipal park swings.

Heavy duty, tactile, twisted & galvanised chains.

We have a pair of these swings, as nostalgic as they are beautiful. Chunky wooden seats are suspended from tactile weathered chains featuring twisted sections which we presume are to provide comfortable hand holds.

They are perfectly useable by children and adults alike (modelled by our ten year old), shown looped over a beam they have strong hanging links. Obviously designed for heavy duty outdoor use they would also look wonderfully quirky inside as hanging tables or in a retail situation for display/merchandising.

We have done nothing to the wooden seats, leaving them rustic as they were found although we can happily sand and oil them if preferred.
