1900'S EDWARDIAN J.L MOTT'S AMERICAN BATHROOM RACK

WEIGHTY BRASS CONSTRUCTION, REMNANTS OF NICKEL PLATING.

DSF6320

A weighty brass bathroom wall rack or caddy believed to be of American manufacture. This has remnants of the original nickel plating just visible over the solid brass framework. It attaches to the wall at three points, stabilised by an elegant curved support.

American plumbing led the world at the turn of the last century and we found this model advertised by JL Mott of New Jersey in their lavish bathroom fittings catalogue of 1908. It appears to have been designed to hold large sponges but is equally suitable for other bathtime paraphernalia.

£155.00 including UK p&p

Works well with the articulating brass vanity mirror , we also the over bath rack of the same era that can be found here

15cm projection from wall

28cm maximum height from top of frame to bottom foot support
