Mid-Century copper wall up-lights.

Salvaged from a public school theatre.

A run of eight copper up-lighters salvaged from a school theatre built in the 1950's. These were probably a bespoke design to suit the elegant lines and proportions of the space, each uplighting reeded wall panels in the auditorium.

Each light consists of three pieces, a large half globe supported on a simple scooped bracket with rectangular back plate with holes for wall fixing. Constructed from solid copper, patinated with a mottled iridescent finish (difficult to capture) which has worn in places and developed a distinctive patina over the last 50 plus years.

These lamps have been disassembled into their component parts and cleaned, screws, nuts, and brass lamp holders polished ready for re-use. Each lamp will come fully re-wired with a tail of electrical flex for your electrician to wire into a mains circuit.
